EL-P - Rush Over Bklyn

EL-P is the first to try out Legitmix (makes music sampling legal) to make a single (in short – he made a song with a huge sample, Rush’s “Tom Sawyer,” without permission and he’s selling it). e’s donating all the sales to the ailing Mr. Dibbs. We have a long line of known producers eager to try this platform out but all have been waiting for someone to go first. It’s also interesting to try out this new technology as it’s not been done before. Information below on both song and algorithm:

When a consumer purchases “Rush Over Bkyln”, the browser-based Legitmix software searches their computer for the “Tom Sawyer” track. If they don’t have it they can purchase it from Legitmix or any online music store. With a few mouse clicks, the Legitmix software recreates on the binary level “Rush Over Bklyn” on the consumer’s computer using their copy of “Tom Sawyer”. The price of “Rush Over Bklyn is $0.70 plus the retail cost of the “Tom Sawyer” track (if the consumer doesn’t have it).
