Ever since his debut album, Early In The Morning, hit stores in February 2010, Irish folk crooner James Vincent McMorrow has been on a steady rise. Along with pushing the LP, McMorrow has been keeping things moving during the past year and a half by releasing some covers of popular songs including his version of Steve Winwood’s “Higher Love” that he put out last month and his humorous-but-impressive spin on Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair” that came out in March. Now, with the support of numerous blogs and a growing fanbase behind him, the 28-year-old decided to finally release a music video for one of his LP’s standout tracks, “We Don’t Eat.” The song itself is a mellow, emotional, stripped-down ballad that you might find yourself listening to during a late night drive home. So, it only makes sense that the visual to it is comprised of a montage of nighttime driving clips, car lights and faded, dream-like shots of McMorrow performing the song. Take a gander at the video above, and head over to iTunes to purchase Early In The Morning if you like what you hear and see.
