Forest of Ginko has put together a truly exceptional and environmentally conscious boot in what is being dubbed their Roots collection. The military-influenced design features an olive upper made from Guidi and Rosellini vegetable-tanned horse leather with matching laces. The boot’s liner is made only from animals that have already perished, and no animals were directly killed in making any boot in the Roots line. Additionally, no chemicals were used in the crafting of the all leather soles and the Forest of Gingko boot can be easily resoled and restitched.
