Charlift - Sidewalk Safari

Before they released their tongue-twisting-titled song “Amanaemonesia” back in July, we hadn’t heard much from Brooklyn-based indie/synth pop outfit Chairlift in years. On January 24 of next year, though, the band will finally be releasing their sophomore album, Something, on Columbia Records in the U.S. and on UK label Young Turks a day earlier. If “Amanaemonesia” wasn’t convincing enough, the second preview of the LP, “Sidewalk Safari,” should prove to you that the duo—comprised of Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly—still has it.
