Benny Gold 2011 Holiday Doughboy New Era Caps

Taking cues from the gothic-styled Detroit D cap commonly worn by Ice Cube, this Benny Gold Doughboy New Era cap is being released for the brand’s Holiday 2011 collection. The cap’s initial design had to be modified due to copyright issues filed by an unlikely of sources, the Birmingham Barons. Intended to incorporate the number ‘16’ for the label’s retail store on 16th Street in San Francisco and a ‘G’ for obvious reasons, this cap is available in two colorways dropping soon on Benny Gold’s online shop.
