Despite having its shine back in World War II some 67 years ago, the original 1944 Mustang P-51K-10 has had an important part in popular culture based on its role in such a monumental global conflict. British watchmakers Bremont pay homage to the Mustang P-51 known as “Fragile but Agile” with a special edition watch which features a chronograph chronometer constructed of original parts from a salvaged P-51 plane. The use of fuselage aluminum is incorporated into the dial, inspired by the P-51’s own in-cockpit clocks. The watch features a modified Swiss BE-54A automatic chronometer movement. 251 pieces will retail for £7,450 GBP (approximately $11,900 USD).
