Although news arrived that his much anticipated sophomore album Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager has been pushed back to October 26, KiD CuDi made it to the top of our latest set with his new song “Mojo So Dope”. Contrary to the mixed reactions his first MOT II-single “Erase Me” caused, his Mojo seems to satisfy the people. On to number 2 of our list is the collaborative joint between Caspa and Mr Hudson “Love Never Dies”. There has been some confusion surround this decent song as the UK dubstep producer was not credited. But yes, he provided the beat and yes, he’s done an amazing job with this one. Drake’s reference song “I’m Ready For You” , Wale’s ode to Tiger Woods as well as J. Cole’s still untitled (“Problems”?) Jim Jonsin-track also hit the ears of our readers.
Further contributions to our latest set were turned in by Belgian Electronica duo Aeroplane (“Superstar”), Usher and Jay-Z (“Hot Toddy”), Diplo joining forces with Lil Jon (“U Don’t Like Me”), Bun B and Drizzy (“It’s Been A Pleasure”) as well as New York-based indie rock band Ra Ra Riot (“Too Dramatic”). Before you check out the audible recap below, checkout Kanye’s new hug to the digital era as he visited Facebook, Twitter and Rolling Stone. It remains to be seen how this will affect the promotional campaign for his still untitled album. We also highly recommend you the mixtape projects: Telephoned and their cover-collection Keep Their Heads Ringin, EL-P and Camo Tau’s Frozen In Television Time, STS’s FreEP Sole Music as well as The Cee-Lo Green Mix. Enjoy!
