sak x Converse First String 2010 Summer Collection

High-fashion label sak and Converse First String come together for second round of collaborative footwear. With the original collection released earlier this year, the 2010 summer collection combines elements of Converse’s iconic profiles with sak sensibilities including traditional construction methods. The Ryusaku Hiruma-designed capsule combines touches of Japanese and Italian culture through the One Star and Jack Purcell with a video documenting Hiruma’s process. The 2010 summer collection is available this month at select retailers in the US including Concepts, Blends and Converse Newbury St. for the One Star and Sak’s New York and Canvas, Malibu for the Jack Purcell.
