Hermès and colette will join forces to re-appropriate Hermès signature “le carrés” or silk scarves. Overseen by Hermès’ “artistic director of silk”, Bali Barret, the collection with colette will take on a previously unseen life of its own with bold graphics and colors. Titled “J’Aime Mon Carré”, the range will release on September 27th through October 16th. Photographer Matt Irwin will travel to New York, London, Paris and Tokyo to document the scarves in action in hopes a creating a magazine out of the photographs.
