Dr Romanelli has long been known for his ability to deconstruct vintage fashion into something new. While the medium has mostly taken place over wearable fashion such as jackets, vests and shirts, he changes gears to create a line of backpacks for UNITE. Over 100 years of textile history is seen throughout the packs including Japanese denim from the 1910s, Hickory cloth from the 1940s, denim from a 1960s jacket, military tent canvas from the 1970s and flannel materials from the 1980s.
