Supreme x Popeye 2010 Fall/Winter Collection

First previewed here, the already storied collaborative collection between Popeye and Supreme draws ever close and is in fact scheduled to release later this week. Elzie Crisler Segar’s Popeye first appeared in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre, which has since appeared in a plethora of comic strips and animated films. Popeye is now the star of Supreme’s fall/winter collaborative series for this year. Using not only the fictional sailor’s appearance to decorate the collection, Popeye’s military involvement is also referenced across some of the choices of the garments for the collection, including the iconic M-65 jacket. The entire run will be available first at the New York and Los Angeles flagship stores as well as online on December 16, and December 18 in Japan.
