More ‘New’ Music From Michael Jackson To Be Released
Teddy Riley, one of the key producers of Michael Jackson’s 1991-album Dangerous has revealed that there is more previously unheard material to come from the late King of pop after the release of his posthumous Michael album. As told to BBC Newsbeat, the Blackstreet-founder confirmed that he will be responsible for the work behind the boards.
“I look forward to doing the next one and I’m glad I’m on board.”
The yet to be titled album will follow the upcoming Micheal which has faced lots of controversy, as several members of Jackson’s family have disputed the authenticity of his vocals on the record. Riley, who produced three records on the LP, has dismissed the accusations and assured that the album would have Jackson’s blessing.
“It’s what he would have expected us to do. If he was here he would have pushed us even more. It’s an incredible record. He had different textures of voices. These particular vocals were how he felt when he worked with the Casios [keyboards]. Different styles and different places of Michael. Truthfully, I love my songs. It’s not about the money it’s about making sure everything is right. The family reap the benefits from this.”
Michael is slated for a December 13-release.
