Takahiro Miyashita’s departure from the fashion scene left a sense of disenchantment amongst his many loyal fans. However the time off allowed the acclaimed designer to re-think his aesthetic and approach to fashion and design. Revitalized with a new perspective and back once again amongst fashion’s upper echelon, Miyashita debut’s his newest brand “The Soloist”. Titled “Debut” the collection draws inspiration from the 19th century while fusing them within avant-garde techniques. Consisting of an assortment of knit wear, suits, multi layered shirts, jackets, vests, pants, and a range of accessories the Solo Ist conveys a sense of balance of contemporary style with the old century flair.
