Groundwave 2011 Spring/Summer Collection

Together, Kim Sun Ho and Park Jung Eun make up Groundwave, one of the key participants in South Korea’s Generation Next, a new forum created with the primary objective of discovering emerging designers. Having already showcased in both Italy and Paris, the duo’s spring/summer collection for 2011 blends traditional fabrics with those more hi-tech, often fusing two contrasting materials within the same garment. As you can see, the line up adopts a palette of grey, black and off-white, allowing Groundwave’s aesthetic vision to surfaces through asymmetric cuts and sliced jackets.
