Saturday, January 2 will see Bape fulfil the Japanese New Year’s tradition, of providing fukubukuro (mystery or lucky bags). Bape’s New York and LA stores will, along with Bape’s the US website, release the bags at $200 each – what each bag will contain is of course a mystery, except for the fact that contents will be substantially discounted, in a similar fashion to the bags available at Bape’s pirate stores.
