Developed in 1982, the X-CALIBER was the first of its kind to feature a unique mid-sole design, incorporating air flex canals to give increased movement and superior cushioning. It featured a reinforced toe design to help prevent injury to toes through slipping forward in motion, a unique zigzagged ‘quadra lacing’ system to ensure superior fit, mesh and nylon uppers to ensure better air ventilation and support, and most importantly – it looked great. The X-CALIBER used the highest technology and most sophisticated designs available. The first shoes came out in a great range of early eighties colorways. For the re-introduction the original colours are being reissued in true retro style: Red Clay/White and Blue/Silver launched at selected retailers across Europe: 1st of July.
