Celebrated in Japanese as a pioneer in design, Masamichi Katayama’s knack for minimalistic renderings continue to set the standard for interior design in Japan. Katayama’s design firm, Wonderwall, has crafted some of the country’s modern marvels including retail endeavors for the likes of Marc Jacobs, Hysteric Glamour, Ice Cream/BBC, and A.P.C amongst others. Participating in other realms of design, his Wonderwall outfit now looks towards Kita-Aoyama lifestyle store Cibone to land their expertise for a creation of various furniture pieces. This latest collection for Cibone boasts a durable and practical sofa series, crafted with wood, glass, and marble with an emphasis on “non-design design” as always making functionality a priority. More looks and information into the Cibone Collection can be found via their official website.
