Castaner Espadrille

Spawning many centuries and dating back to 1776, Castaner officially established its modern day brand in 1927. Over the years, the brand would earn a strong allegiance with the Spanish population for their interest amongst the Spanish military. The 1960s would turn the corner for Castaner as they would begin to become a more fashion-forward brand working with established brands and designers firstly with Yves Saint Laurent which blossomed into relationships with UNDERCOVER, Christian Louboutin, Louis Vuitton and Hermes. Looking towards their recent offerings, the brand’s raw aesthetic is thanks largely in part to the outsole style and varies over slip-on and chukka boot styles.
