Entitled “Sturm und Drang”, Nom de Guerre’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection takes cues from early cavalry units and regiments of various European forces. The New York-based collective blend these distinct references into a collection fabricated with light blues and various greys set off by darker color tones and elemental hues of regimental aesthetics. Excellently cut and engineered, the garments hold a distinct refined look executed wisely throughout every one of Nom de Guerre’s previous seasons.
