Taking influence from Alexander McQueen’s main fashion line and strongly inspired by both human anatomy and architecture, the Alexander McQueen Ribcage model features an engineered mesh upper resembling a network of tendons and veins alongside a “ribcage” of luxe, featuring molded leather lends structure. As in past Alexander McQueen PUMA footwear collections, a “My Left Foot” three-dimensional insert is visible from the bottom of the sole and side profile, taking the shoe’s anatomical reference one step further. The AMQ Ribcage, which retails for $300, will be stocked in both black and bronze while the AMQ Ribcage Sport, available in electric blue and lime green, adds some depth to the line’s offerings. The shoe’s gradient mesh upper provides a clean backdrop for its colorful welded tendon pattern, and the ribcage detail is constructed from a translucent TPU. The AMQ Ribcage Sport retails for $250. Both styles will be available for purchase at PUMA The Black Store, Meatpacking District, New York and Puma.com.
