Patrik Ervell 2009 Spring Collection Preview

Although past collections from designer Patrik Ervell have been firmly rooted in classic American menswear, recent looks at his 2009 spring collection have seen the designer look to open up his inspirations for the forthcoming collections. Combining visual elements together in a sort of “dynamism of pattern”, we see a series of more liberally designed pieces. His penchant for technical fabrics is still maintained as Ervell bridges the gap between aesthetics and functionality as well as increasing his use of not so subtle detailing.
