While his life came to a pre-mature end in 1990, the art world always remembers and embraces Keith Haring’s work to this day. With his iconic characters having been used countlessly, the spirit of the artist lives on. Recently, one of Haring’s early protege’s Angel Ortiz or better known as graffiti artist LA II, took some serious time to restore a Haring mural with LA’s signature touch. The New York Times did an article on it, giving some history on the relationship between both artists, it can be seen here.
