In an interesting affair of art meets beer, the London Royal College of Art has formed a partnership with beer company Becks with their art initiative titled Beck’s Canvas. The project will allow Royal College of Art’s present attendees and alumni to submit themed art for selection with this most recent capsule featuring Rita Ikonen, Tom Price, Charlotte Bracegirdle and Simon Cunningham. This worldwide project will see over 27 million bottles of beer featuring the art of these four talented individuals as the realm of art presentation is brought to a whole new level. From a time when art was predominately consumed in specific gallery settings, these mass showcases truly bring art to the masses as we’ve seen this bottle x art concept applied by other drink makers within the last few months including Colt 45 and Mountain Dew.
