Upper Playground x adidas Originals Stan Smith: David Choe

Continuing with this week’s unveiling of the Upper Playground x adidas Originals 4 pack of shoes comes this Stan Smith done in collaboration with David Choe. For the mural painter and graphic artist, this piece of adidas work is the latest for Choe who’s past artwork has graced the likes of comic books, movie posters, album covers and toys among other things. In an effort to convey a message of serial killers, ninjas, nightmares and Ice-T lyrics, the inspirations are definitely not superficial and require some serious guess work. Available in a run of 500 pairs starting Thursday, July 24th in sizes 4 through 13.5. Both Upper Playground stores as well as UpperPlayground.com (starting at 8:00 am PT) will have the shoes on hand.
