With Nike being the empire and powerhouse that it is now, it’s hard to believe that there was a time when there was another athletic shoe just as popular and as fashionable. Adidas was the choice brand of chart toppings rappers, celebrity b-boys and worshiped athletes throughout the 80s. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Adidas would resurrect one of their more famous designs and name it “Adidas Super Star 80’s”. The classic reissue starts with a leather design with a simple white base and then is accented with Adidas’ signature three stripes on each side. The shoe comes in colors blue, gray and red and are now available for purchase at Atmos Tokyo.
