Rats, Japanese clothing brand designed by Tetsu Nishiyama of WTAPS, is collaborating with the people from Neighborhood to design some pieces that will be released in August. The release includes various logo-based tees, long sleeves, jacket, and paint-splattered pants. All the pieces come in quiet, complimentary colors, which fits Neighborhood’s usual style. Definitely an interesting collaboration that is for sure to produce some solid pieces.

Back in 2007, sneaker customizer Rob L officially teamed up with Puma to create the “Archipelago” Clydes, a tribute to the Greek word for range of islands. For 20 years, Rob L has become an incessant fan of the Clyde and Suede profile, beginning with the book “Spraycan Art”. The original custom sneakers featured a special technique involving Pantone markers to create the patchy upper, mimicking small concentrations of islands. The popularity of this sneaker has spawned a full production version. Capturing the essence of the original, the Clyde is very much similar to its custom sneaker originator (perhaps the status can be upgraded to sample now). The sneaker will be available in two colors, with a nubuck upper and special padded tongue to ensure the laces are spread wider apart and achieve that “jellyroll” look. A worldwide release date is set for June 21st. Available at Solebox.
