The Japanese label, Neighborhood, has had a strong collection so far this year. Other than the pieces from their regular collection, they have also released desirable collaboration items which were done with guitar makers C.F. Martin & Co., noted Japanese photographer Osamu Nagahama and Redwings. Just today, Neighborhood has updated their website with more interesting items from their 2008 1st Ex Series “Delta” collection. Items that caught our eye were the Neighborhood x Head Porter backpacks, the Neighborhood x Visvim Mowat Moc. as well as the glasses frames. These items will be dropping in the next several weeks at Neighborhood stores as well as Neighborhood’s new flagship store in Hong Kong, HOODS.
The Nike Star Classic was first released back in 1974 and like many models from that era, it functioned as basketball sneakers. Fast forward thirty or so years and here you have the Nike Star Classic re-released. For this release, two colors have been selected: blue and orange. Both feature a perforated suede upper and a nice big Swoosh. The tag on the tongue is a reminisce of the original Nike logo. Available now at Atmos Tokyo.
The new Bape Harajuku store which opened up in January is another masterpiece from the design firm Wonderwall. On the Wonderwall site, they state:
“For the Bape store, after discussions with Nigo, we decided to create a store that felt like a town within a building with an American diner flair. However, for the top floor, a sense of playfulness was added with a colonial style resort inspired space.”
