Emerging from mega fashion house Hermès, menswear designer Varonique Nichanian is the latest to participate in Details’ Follow the Rules. Her fashion tips are mostly male relevant with some highlights including the following:
1. The right proportion and fit are a matter of centimeters—millimeters, really. When you choose clothes that are perfect for you, you feel strong, comfortable, and more self-confident.
2. Style is a question of charm, not nationality. It’s not true that French men have more allure or style than American men. It’s just that they dress with more personality. They don’t follow dress codes, and sometimes they mix things in a way they shouldn’t. Like how Serge Gainsbourg dressed, with his reptile shoes with jeans and blazer and white shirt—that’s charm.

In continuation of Nike’s commemoration of the Dunk, the latest pack has surfaced for a shoe once created as the quintessential team shoe for colleges all around but has now transcended sport and culture alike. The Eastern pack references Eastern countries with strong footballing backgrounds, inspired by both flags and football kits of teams alike. The overall theme backed by the upcoming European Championships. Each model is not without its fair share of innovations including updated cushioning, stain resistant laces and materials. The collection embodies a sense of environmental sustainability through a diverse collection ranging from outerwear to basics such as tees and shorts. DJ Hazime’s DOUBLE HARD label has teamed up with fellow Japanese brand KIKS TYO on collaboration effort featuring two t-shirts. Keeping true to KIKS TYO’s bread and butter, the tees reference sneakers including the Reebok Pump Easter edition and the MTV Puma Clyde. Available now in various colors at KIKS TYO.
Toymaker Tim Tsui will be releasing his latest creative exploit, Da Warrior next month. The bad ass football playing gorilla includes three versions, normal, battle and monotone. The battle version is highlighted by damage to the helmet and shoulder pads while the monotone version is detailed with 30 Swarovski crystals. Each figure also includes an interchangeable face plate, creating a robotic look. Look for Da Warrior to hit Da TeamBronx during the second week of May.

Most would agree that tradeshow pics and leaked photos never really do any products justice, but due to the nature of the beast that is blogging they go up anyways.
