In the past mastermind Japan and Visvim have teamed up on various collaborations spanning everything from footwear to bags and apparel. Utilizing the new Logan Deck model, the two are at it again creating a sneaker which follows a design path similar to previous collaborations. The Logan includes a black leather upper, Skull logo and side zips.

At the recent Stussy Las Vegas Grand Opening, music was provided courtesy of Just Blaze. It seems as though Stussy hooked it up with a special Las Vegas City Series tee featuring Just Blaze on the back in your well known Stussy font while the front features the names of prominent former Las Vegas hotels such as the Stardust, Hacienda, Maxim, Sands, Landmark and the Dunes. No word on whether the tee will be available commercially.

Taking the hybrid thing to a new level, Jordan Brand has created this Frankenstein bag incorporating highlights from models including the AJVI, AJ VII, AJ XII, AJ XIII and AJ XVII. A realistic looking sole can be seen representing the base of the bag with various highlights through out. Not the first time the Jordan Brand has incorporated actual footwear into a bag, previously using the Air Jordan III as the theme behind a bag designed by Michael Ditullo.

Artist Yayoi Kusama’s trademark use of polka dots can be seen applied to this recent multi-brand project between XLarge, X-girl and Porter. Interestingly enough, much of Kusama’s inspirations and polka dot designs are derived from a series of hallucinations she experienced as a child which was spawned by physical abuse from her mother. The Royal Navy from Admiral is a unorthodox take at the high-top sneaker. The sneaker is secured by a flap with a vertical row of buttons. Two styles are separated by varying colors of plaid with detailed carvings on the buttons. These aren’t expected to release until September of this year.
