Sneaker Freaker x Puma "Blaze of Glory"

Digging deep into the Puma archives, Australian sneaker magazine Sneaker Freaker looked to the Puma Disc Blaze as the basis for their most recent collaboration. The profile of the “Blaze of Glory” starts off low and beings to rise as you hit the heel. The shoe will come complete with shark teeth accessories (a tribute to what we assume is SF’s Australian heritage) as well as multiple sets of laces and insoles. Available starting April 26th, 2008. No word on whether the tee will be available commercially. Source: Eddie Cruz via Neek

Artist Yayoi Kusama’s trademark use of polka dots can be seen applied to this recent multi-brand project between XLarge, X-girl and Porter. Interestingly enough, much of Kusama’s inspirations and polka dot designs are derived from a series of hallucinations she experienced as a child which was spawned by physical abuse from her mother. This messenger bag is now available at calif.
