Artist Dez Einswell’s latest show [Destination Unknown] will open this Saturday at SURU. Known for his “Doodblebarn” creations, the exhibition gives a first hand account of Dez’s fun and interactive world. After associating with Gibson guitars and Peta2, French label APRIL77 nows pays tribute to independent record label, Domino Records. The result is a limited edition box set containing both a deluxe vinyl record and APRIL77’s signature Manchester pique polo shirt. The 12” vinyl record consists of tracks from bands such as Clinic, The Kills, Von Sudenfed, Sons & Daughters, These New Puritans, Lightspeed Champion, Franz Ferdinand, and Stephen Malkmus. The shirt features a pick holder and includes a special Domino x APRIL77 guitar pick. The APRIL77 Tribute To Domino Records package is limited to 440 copies.
