To officially kick off the three-way collaboration between sportswear giant adidas, sneaker shop UNDFTD and famed photographer Estevan Oriol, downtown Los Angeles was the venue for the opening party. Estevan Oriol was on hand to sign autographs while photos from his book and the package itself were on display. Look for the comprehensive package to hit Consortium releases soon.
The efforts of Hiroaki Shitano are recognized in his latest collection titled Minor Threat. The extensive collection of products draw inspiration from Mayan culture as they form the basis for many of the highlights seen. The collection includes jackets, pants, khakis, button ups and various accessories. Available at select Whiz dealers and their flagship store Lump.

We recently foreshadowed the re-opening of Tokyo’s Lump store. The opening of the doors would be met with special t-shirts and Bearbricks. As Lump opened for the day, a large line had formed below on the street of the 2nd story retailer. The store will house items from whiz, including their most recent capsule for 2008 Spring/Summer, “Minor Threat” as well as new brand AWA.

Retail space Sense Organ teamed up with fellow Taiwanese label Skatopia on a hoodie. The “No War Just Love” Army hoodie is a little contradictory with Army written on the front and the slogan on the back. The collar features red lip marks as well. Available starting February 7th.
Trend exclusive contemporary brand YMC (YouMustCreate) created their brand ethos on the desire to create timeless classics and bring forth a certain distinction to their garments. Some of their recent releases feature a knitted cardigan, high collar shawl sweater and double belt. Available now through End.
This past weekend, Nike Japan hosted its 1Night celebration. Special VIP guests were given an exclusive pair of the staple white on white Air Force 1. Unlike regular releases of the white/whites, these feature patent accents and laser etching on the heel. You probably won’t be able to purchase these unless someone from the party decides to throw them on eBay.
