The black stingray upper with translucent mid-sole shows a visible air unit in the heel while the Swoosh and heel is colored in New Orleans Hornets inspired blue. Seven cities were chosen for the launch of this City Dunk Pack. 86 pairs were made for each city. The New York Dunk was launched last week at NORT and this week, 144 LAB will be releasing at LA Dunk. Hilltop Hoods is an Australian hip hop group that formed back in 1991. Their current members include MCs Suffa, Pressure, and DJ Debris. They have recently teamed up with DC Shoes to create their very own DC Pride sneaker. As kids, we would throw up our beat up sneakers and try to hang them on telephone poles or electrical wires. This is the concept Nike based their installation on for their setup at the 144 LAB in Los Angeles. Many pairs of the Nike Los Angeles City Dunks were hung on a wire at the gallery.
