The name Keith Haring has had a resounding effect on the art community. Creating a recognizable style and becoming identifiable by his “The Radiant Baby” symbol, Haring unfortunately passed away in his early 30s. Filmmaker Christina Clausen is currently featuring her documentary “The Universe of Keith Haring” across the world, paying homage to the artist’s legacy and providing a look into the artist’s short but fruitful life including his childhood and his rise to international art fame and the events along the way. Many of Haring’s close associates make appearances including Fred Brathwaite, A.K.A. Fab 5 Freddy, Jeffrey Deitch, Julia Gruen, Kim Hastreiter, Bill T. Jones, David LaChapelle, Hans Mayer, Samantha McEwen, Carlo McCormick, Roger Nellens, Yoko Ono, Kermit Oswald, Kenny Sharf, Bruno Schmidt, Tony Shafrazi, Drew Straub, Junior Vasquez, Gil Vasquez, and with Joan, Allen, Kay, Karen, Kristen Haring.
