Inspired by the notions of luxury through illicit means, the Caviar Cartel from SSUR aims to capture the essence of this concept through their ongoing collections. The reference to caviar itself works its way into the aesthetics of some of the pieces seen here with 3D caviar-esque beaded prints paying homage to the world of luxury that surrounds caviar culture. We also see a subtle look into the Caviar Cartel Crew, a series of characters which live the Caviar Cartel Philosophy. Rounding out the highlights is the cable-knit inspired “wolf in sheeps clothing” hoodie, which features a member of the Caviar Cartel Crew (a black colorway is available and exclusive to SSUR*PLUS). More then ever, SSUR founder Russ Karablin feels these are his highest quality works yet with ample effort to ensure quality garments are produced with his continual meshing of Russo-American culture. With a new website on the way, the tees are available now while knits should drop at the start of November.
