New York based artist Neckface opened his “Death Becomes You” exhibition in Melbourne this past January 24th. The show features some amazing framed water colour works, acrylic panels, incredible tin masks, and even some custom Vans Chukkas. Hosted by Schwipe at the Don’t Come gallery, the exhibition will run until February 16th, 2008. If your in town, do yourself a favour and check it out.

At the recent Agenda trade show, In4mation debuted an upcoming bright and glossy G-Shock. Typical skateboard deck graphics are screen printed or heat transferred. Alphanumeric went a step further and used a new hi gloss treatment giving the deck an amazing shine effect. Coupled with Alphanumeric’s subtle logo hits and timeless aesthetic, the end product is nothing short of incredible. With the upcoming celebration of Chinese New Year on the horizon, a special bag was designed to accompany the purchase of Nike’s Chinese New Year hoodies. The “Year of the Rat” motif is based on the mouse wheel with gold accents. The bags will be handed out free of charge.

Lifestyle retail space 10 Corso Como is set to open a new shop in the South Korean capital of Seoul. With a large roster of high end labels and design orientated lifestyle products, the retail space is a great opening for the South Korean market. 10 Corso Como presently has locations in Japan and Italy. No word yet on an opening date.
