The Carnival of Venice is a yearly festival which celebrates the wearing of masks. The first recorded Carnival took place in 1268 and has been banned over the century. In the late 1970’s the Carnival was revived and has been going on ever since. The Carnival takes place from January 25th to February 5th. Adidas has taken this chance to come out with a sneaker dedicated to this event. Utilizing the Micropacer model, Adidas has created a black colorway sneaker using leather, nylon and suede for the upper. This Adidas Carnival of Venice Micropacer is now available at Overkill Berlin.

We’re probably only in the first phase of the Nike Dunk Be True campaign and we’ve already seen a ton of news coming from Nike. Here’s the latest news where Nike has created a really cool Dunk Locker for the seven pairs of the “Be True to Your School” Dunks. Unfortunately, unless you’re really close with Nike, you probably won’t be able to get one of these but there’s hope. Rumor has it that these will be given away as a lucky draw at one of the Dunk events in South East Asia.
