This year marks Etnies’ 21st Anniversary. Etnies CEO Piere Andre Senizergues (PAS) decided to celebrate Etnies’ coming of age with the Drinking Age (DA) Collection. The personally designed collection includes six versions of the iconic Senix model. Each have been reinterpreted with changes that reflect beliefs and concerns of the influential skate brand. Only 21 pairs are available for each of the six designs, with a small run of 10 available for sale through Southern California’s Blends.
Each pair was engineered under strict environmental regulations which include recycled plastic laces/boxes, biodegradable tissue paper as well as the omission of various harmful practices utilized in the original Senix design. One of the six models part of the collection is the Senix MV, inspired by PAS’ first skateboard and “Foxing Tape” used.

Japanese hip-hop group Nitro Microphone Underground hooked up with Nike and Stussy to release a Special Force Tour shirt. The front of the shirt features a picture of the group while the list of members is seen on the back. With Google translate letting me down, I think that somewhere in there it says that the front print is not visible depending on which angle you view the shirt. No word on availability but it may be a friends and family release.

These days, paying for your swagger is no harder then charging mommy and daddy’s plastic card. But if you happen to live in a cash driven society i.e. Asia, where retailers are too worried about paying their 10 cents on each card related transaction, cash is the safest way to go. Enter the slightly effeminate notion of a coin purse which keeps all those coins together. Atmos has offered up their Bottega Veneta-esque Brick Coin Purse which includes a carabiner and Visvim/Red Moon beaded pull. Doesn’t really come off as anything groundbreaking but available now at Atmos.
