Fitted Hawaii are set to release a new fitted alongside some new tee-shirts, Saturday May 5th. The theme of their spring collection deals with the theme of “Kala” and “Kill Hate”. Kala translated from Hawaiian means money. And having said that, at the basis of this theme is the fundamental role of greed within Hate. On this particular New Era, the flowers on the cap represent growth and life, essentially the cyclical way of life.

To celebrate the first anniversary of Original Fake, creator Kaws has designed a bronze Kaws figure. The figure features half dissection is weighs almost 10 kg’s (22 lbs). Only ten of these special figures will be produced, with only 5 making their way to the Original Fake store in Japan.

Sold Out, the creative retailer brainchild of LAMJC and Colette marked their one year anniversary this March. Alongside the 25th anniversary of the Air Force 1, Sold Out have created special anniversary Nike ID Air Force 1. Only 5 pairs of these Air Force 1’s will be created, each will be numbered and feature detailed lasering on the back heel. The size run of 8.5 – 12 will go on sale May 9th on the Sold Out website.

We’ve seen a lot of holiday-themed sneakers this year, and the trend doesn’t seem to be stopping. Dave’s Quality Meat is about to release three new New Era fitted caps in some bold prints. These include a black plaid colorway with a thick 3-D embroidered logo, a wild forest scenary print complete with many buck’s chilling out and a black polka dot cap. Look for these to drop very soon.

New York based SSUR have been rockin’ it since the late 80’s and have recently teamed up with Harajuku shop, Kinetics to produce a small line of collaborative tee shirts. These include a basic logo tee (availabe in white, mint green, light pink and yellow) and a Pendulum tee (available in black, ivy green and mat purple).

Rick Klotz, creator of Freshjive recently threw down a very interesting Show & Tell video for The Hundreds. His collectibles include everything from off-print magazines to naked Polaroids of girls to sketches done by himself that inevitably will make their way onto upcoming Fresh Jive tee’s. Supertouch recently stopped over in Tokyo and allocated some time out of their schedule to visit both Bounty Hunter’s Hikaru Iwanaga at his private studio as well as Secret Base’s newest location situated in Harajuku. Supertouch proclaims his amazement over Hikaru Iwanaga’s vast collection of American and Japanese toys as well as how the new atmosphere of Secret Base provides a great environment for the showcasing of vintage and newly released toys.
