Although J-Dilla’s unfortunate passing occurred over one year ago, one doesn’t need to look very far to experience the impact that this man has had on a variety of facets within our culture. He is still a name that gets mentioned with a lot of frequency and it is undoubtedly deserved. The latest tribune to J-Dilla comes in the form of this special package orchestrated by Union out of Los Angeles. The package features a tee-shirt (available in black as well), a cassette tape of Rough Draft as well as a picture of Dilla himself. The cassette tape is a nice throwback since to many of us, we were around during the CD revolution that took over cassette tapes as the format of choice for music.

Upper Playground have teamed up with their familiar friend FIFTY24SF to created three brand new New Era fitted caps. A familiar all-over print utilizing Upper Playground’s signature Walrus has made a return in a black and orange colorway. Two artists in which Upper Playground have previously worked with in Sam Flores and Jeremy Fish have each designed caps of their own. Sam Flores’ cap, pictured on the bottom features a camo print with his classic head design incorporated, while the other cap is produced with an all over print skull cap with an embroidered logo in classic Jeremy Fish (who collaborated with Nike on the Fish SB Classic) fashion.
