The Zoo York Institute and NYC non-profit youth organization, Stoked Mentoring have teamed up with renowned artist, Mike Giant, to produce a limited-edition skateboard deck and T-shirt to benefit NYC youth. Set to release in June, a portion of all proceeds from the sale of both items will be donated to Stoked Mentoring to help further its mission of developing “Successful Teens with Opportunity, Knowledge, Experience, and Determination†through action sports, mentoring, and coaching.
To celebrate the official release of this collaboration, a launch party / fund-raiser will take place Wednesday, June 6th in NYC at Pink Elephant.
Here’s a sneak peak at an upcoming New Era cap from Mishka entitled Boney M. The cap is made of waterproof nylon with a raised grid pattern, which is definitely something you don’t see everyday.
In other Mishka news, a few new items will be added to the shop this week, including Women’s Stabouflage Hoodies. They’ll also be doing a final restock on the first round Spring gear, so check back at Mishka’s online shop at the end of the week for your last chance to grab these items.
May 1st will see the release of A Bathing Ape’s Camo Mesh Trucker hats, each hat represents it’s respective Bathing Ape store in that city. Missing from the picture are the caps slated to release for New York, London, Hong Kong and Taipei since they will drop at a later date.
