High Snobiety has recently release a feature on Nike’s Vintage Running Collection. The basis of this collection is to recreate the past memories and meanings once held by Nike’s innovative past. As Nike continues the releases of various retro shoes, these retro inspired runners from the Vintage Collection will not succumb to any modifications or differences as they have been created to the exact specifications of the originals. As well each shoe has been given a vintage treatment to give a sense of story. Perhaps some many not appreciate the falsification of a sneakers story, much like starch and raw denim but conversely, to some we feel as though an exact original reproduction in pristine condition just wouldn’t be the same either. The Vintage Running Collection will feature the Cortez, the Waffle, and the Daybreak.
