The monogram print on the shoes are various household items such as tv’s, video game controls, an iron, a fridge, a light bulb, etc. Its a pretty unique concept for a shoe print. Adidas Originals Summer City

Adidas Originals Summer City

Here’s a closer look at the Adidas Originals Summer City line. This collection, which bares similarity to the regular Adidas’ “City Series” takes a newer turn in giving it the summer vibe. So instead of just regular cities, the cities featured for this collection will be places known for great summer vacation spots. Each shoe will bare the mark of the city it represents such as Marrakech in Morocco, Hawaii Honolulu, France St. Tropez and Ibiza, Spain and more. The sneakers used for this collection will be the Gazelle, but flip flops will also be made for each of the cities, to really capture that summer vibe. The Adidas Originals Summer City range should start coming out this April with more items to come in May. See more at Kenlu.

Ice Cream Boardflips

Ice Cream Boardflips

Fresh off a successful first year of the original Boardflips, the Boardflip IIs seem to be killing the retail market as well. For April, Reebok will drop these two color-ups of the series, a new multi-colored BFII, and a more subtle colorway of the BF 1. Also, look for new ice cream flavors to drop each month. Pretty dope for a general release. Image: Complex

Dalek - Desperate, Rejected and Angry Show

Dalek - Desperate, Rejected and Angry Show

Artist Dalek recently started up a solo show titled Desperate, Rejected and Angry at the Jonathan Levine Gallery in NYC. Dalek’s art for the Desperate, Rejected and Angry show can be described as a juxtaposition of natural objects and man-made objects to create a very smooth blend of abstract art. Despite a certain cartoon-like feel to Dalek’s art, the pieces for this show have an underlying meaning related to the primal instinct of survival versus the violent and cruel world.
