Cause Monogram Chakka and Monogram High

Zozo just revealed two new Cause shoe models for this season. The first model, which is a monogram chakka canvas shoe, comes in both black and grey colorways. The monogram print on the shoes are various household items such as tv’s, video game controls, an iron, a fridge, a light bulb, etc. Its a pretty unique concept for a shoe print. The second model is a monogram high canvas sneaker. It comes in a monogram print as well, but this time around the prints are of letters. Both shoes are unique in style in that it sports a larger rigid front midsole. Image: Zozo

Adidas Originals Summer City

Adidas Originals Summer City

Here’s a closer look at the Adidas Originals Summer City line. This collection, which bares similarity to the regular Adidas’ “City Series” takes a newer turn in giving it the summer vibe. So instead of just regular cities, the cities featured for this collection will be places known for great summer vacation spots. Each shoe will bare the mark of the city it represents such as Marrakech in Morocco, Hawaii Honolulu, France St. Tropez and Ibiza, Spain and more. The sneakers used for this collection will be the Gazelle, but flip flops will also be made for each of the cities, to really capture that summer vibe. The Adidas Originals Summer City range should start coming out this April with more items to come in May. See more at Kenlu.

Ice Cream Boardflips

Ice Cream Boardflips

Fresh off a successful first year of the original Boardflips, the Boardflip IIs seem to be killing the retail market as well. For April, Reebok will drop these two color-ups of the series, a new multi-colored BFII, and a more subtle colorway of the BF 1. Also, look for new ice cream flavors to drop each month. Pretty dope for a general release. Image: Complex

Bombshell - The Claw Money Book

Bombshell - The Claw Money Book

Claw Money has just dropped a new book, an visual autobiography of sorts that basically highlights her life through 128 pages worth of photography and graphic imagery. As one of the most influential women artists in a predominately male orientated art form, it’s worth a look at what Claw Money expresses through her graphics. Here’s a recent interview she gave with Format Magazine outlying her history as well as her book. Image: We Sold Out!

Dalek - Desperate, Rejected and Angry Show

Dalek - Desperate, Rejected and Angry Show

Artist Dalek recently started up a solo show titled Desperate, Rejected and Angry at the Jonathan Levine Gallery in NYC. Dalek’s art for the Desperate, Rejected and Angry show can be described as a juxtaposition of natural objects and man-made objects to create a very smooth blend of abstract art. Despite a certain cartoon-like feel to Dalek’s art, the pieces for this show have an underlying meaning related to the primal instinct of survival versus the violent and cruel world. Upper Playground Taichung Taiwan

Upper Playground Taichung Taiwan

Upper Playground have recently opened their first flagship store outside of the United States in Taichung Taiwan. This move comes as no surprise due to Upper Playgrounds previous experience with artists all around the world so this was natural progression. This new flagship store will include exclusive designs by Sam Flores, Jeremy Fish, and Estevan Oriol. Some of the things you can expect to see within walls of this store are much like the hoodies, t-shirts, bags, hats, books and housewares you see in the US locations that have made Upper Playground such a recognizable name in the street-wear industry.

Puma Clydes Upcoming Summer 2007

Puma Clydes Upcoming Summer 2007

As the Puma Clyde ressurgence continues, here’s a look at what’s coming up for summer of 2007. The Clydes will always be a strong selling point to those who like to keep it simple since (for the time being anyways), aside from the sole, the Clyde is really only a 3 piece shoe with the toe-box, instep/outstep upper, and the Puma stripe. The upcoming colorways include purple/pink. blue/yellow, and black/red. If there’s any shoe that can give adidas Superstar’s a run for it’s money in fat laces, it’s definitely the Clyde!
