Check out this video by VBS of two of the most important figures in skating in the 80’s and till now. The interview shows Mark Gonzales & Christian Hosoi talking about their early days in skating and how they came to know and respect each other. This interview is quite epic, which also has some old school footage and images of Hosoi and Gonzalez in their earlier skate years. Vancouver based streetwear label Finale will be launching their Spring 2007 collection in a short while. Here is a sneak preview of what to expect for this season. They have taken inspiration from sneakers and music to create many sharp graphics and implemented them on a series of t-shirts. The five styles include the Betamaxxx, Punks Jump Up, Gotta Have Faith (Dreams), Femme Fatale, and Menage. Be sure to keep your radars set on this label as each season gets stronger and stronger. Fila goes high-class with their release of the Made in Italy Original Tennis Sneaker model. For this collection, Fila will release three types of pairs. There will be a black/titanium version, a brown/opal/lava version, and a natural/opal/brown version. As you can see, some of the sneakers contain ostrich and snakeskin type material, truly making it a higher class model for the Fila brand.

Godwin is a new label that just debuted their products for the Spring 2007 season. According to it’s creative director and founder Pel, “GODWIN is a street inspired brand that addresses the need for full cut and sew collections.” For their Spring 2007 range, Godwin has come out with a very impressive selection of selvedge denim, assorted colored hoodies, short sleeve button down shirts, and tees. There’s even a Godwin character figure for this season. You can check them all out now at their site.
The Hundreds has just provided a look at Fairfax neighbor Twelve Bar’s upcoming range of tee’s dropping later this year. The “Anarchy” tee is definitely an interesting design. Stay tuned for more details!
