Pop culture artist Banksy of the UK will have a variety of different pieces showcased this month in New York. So popular has Banksy’s street art become, special preservation programs have been instituted to maintain and touch-up some of his works. The exhibition will take place at the Vanina Holasek Gallery.
Virginia based boutique Commonwealth will be releasing a special Three Year Anniversary collaborative t-shirt with clothing brand Crooks & Castles. The t-shirt combines signature elements from each brand’s identity with commonwealth’s purple ribbon tying together the iconic Crooks & Castles double Cs. Available Saturday, December 1st at Cmonwealth.com.
The boat shoe has been making a come back these few years in the world of streetwear especially by efforts from brands like Visvim or Creative Recreation. It seems like Ice Cream will be making their own version of the Boat shoe as well sometime in the future. Nigo was spotted wearing a sample pair at a photoshoot in New York with Pharrell. Currently there isn’t any information on these but stay tuned for more information.

Vans previously created a collection of shoe with hi fashion designer Marc Jacobs and now it looks like Vans will be working with the leading British designer, Paul Smith for a collection of sneakers. Seen here are the Sk8 Hi and the Chukka which both utilizes Paul Smith’s signature pattern. Rumor has it that there will be other models included in this series including a Slip On and the Era. These will be available sometime in Spring of 2008.

Legendary New York graffiti artist CrashOne and his brand Brook Avenue teamed up with footwear brand Gravis to produce this collaborative high-top sneaker. The sleek black upper is highlighted by understated embossing on the side panels. The rear includes a Brook Avenue embroidery signifying the area in which CrashOne grew up. Different colors of laces are included, effectively matching the little flag tab of CrashOne’s logo seen on the upper. This limited edition sneaker will be available exclusively at Gravis Black Box dealers in the US and Japan and at Brook Ave flagship stores in Tokyo and New York.
