APC Daikanyama Homme

Wonderwall has unveiled pictures behind the work they recently did for the renovation of Tokyo’s APC Daikanyama Homme. The reason behind Wonderwall’s success is perhaps its consistently innovative architectural designs. The raw unfinished fixtures are balanced with the light hardwood floors providing a pleasant shopping experience. Each room provides a different theme and story with the gateway to the store coming in the form of a garden. Image: Wonderwall via High Snobiety

Bape Bapesta Mid

The latest Bapesta’s from Bape have released and are featured in colorways similar to boot favorites like Timberland and Red Wings. In some ways, its a reversal of roles between Nike and Bape, while Bape used to drop hideous patent colorways, Nike was pretty low key and conservative. It must absolutely be noted that if it wasn’t for the Bapesta we wouldn’t ever have been graced with the musical prowess of Soulja Boy. Available now at Cliffedge.

Lupe Fiasco "The Cool" Album

Chi-town boy, Lupe Fiasco dropped his sophomore album “The Cool” just a few days ago. The concept behind the album was to bring attention to the “damaging influences” and “corrupt allure” plaguing urban America in the new millennium. Guests on The Cool include Snoop Dogg, Gemstones and production by Soundtrakk, UNKLE, Chris & Drop and Patrick Stump (of Fall Out Boy). The art direction and styling was handled by Nathan Cabrera and Dr Romanelli. The album imagery acts as a conveyor of the story lines seen in each track. Maharishi also got involved in designing a series of tour jackets. Pick up The Cool at your nearest music dealer. Umbro by Kim Jones 2008 Spring/Summer Collection

Pieces from from the 2008 Spring/Summer Collection from Umbro by Kim Jones have been revealed. The collection is marked by a series of prints associated with World Cup 2010 in South Africa, a nice touch considering the brand’s roots as a stumbling performance soccer brand first and foremost (Capello to the rescue?). The products offer a mix of brash and colorful prints set against simple uppers. I wonder what people do with these designer soccer balls though, do you honestly bring it to your weekend kick arounds? Check your local Umbro by Kim Jones stockists starting in the new year.

Nike Air Force 1 Red Croc

The designers for this particular AF1 most likely busted their balls and after months of deliberation finally decided on this particular colorway of red/red/red. The upper is a combination of patent leather and croc leather. Ever since the release of an all red Emerica Reynolds 1 back in 2002 or so, we’ve had a great fixation for all red shoes but maybe even these are too red. Image: Nike1Love
