It’s been approximately one year since the passing of Fiberops’ Tatsushi ‘Tabo’ Kagaya. Throughout his time, he’s had an unheralded impact among many things he’s touched. From his shaping of Hong Kong on a grassroots level to the friendships he’s developed, he has created a legacy not soon forgotten. Some of Tabo’s closet friends such as Know1edge, Fiberops and Subcrew teamed up to produce a special “Everything Happens to Me” trucker cap with proceeds going towards Tabo’s family.

Having said that, expect the Ueno Sakura to release only in the Baltimore area in the near future as part of the 1Vote contest. Other cities with opportunities include Philadelphia (currently taking place) and New York. Philadelphia heads can vote at select Sneaker Villa 1Vote kiosks. The New York population can vote on their favorite AF1 starting in January. Based out of Los Angeles, The Seventh Letter Crew features a star studded cast of talented and well known artists from the graf and underground art world. Together they have teamed up with skate & graffiti orientated brand JSLV to create the Blackbook jacket. The jacket is themed after the hardcover textures and inscribed pages of a writer’s blackbook. Details include a spray can pull-tab and a lining including handstyles from artists such as Chaz Bojorquez, Rime, Push, Sever and Revok among others, which feature the whole Seventh Letter crew. 366 hoodies have been produced and will be available at Versus, Brooklyn Projects, FTC, Street Machine, as well as from Seventh Letter directly.

FAME Collective x JB Classics Getlo Mid

JB Classics has released a new sneaker for the FAME Collective exhibition that took place this week in Miami. This Getlo Mid was designed by Jason Bass and Mdot and are limited to only 48 pairs in total. The shoe itself features details like ostrich leather and a reversed pigskin inner lining. All shoes come with double oval laces as well as a certificate of ownership, a gold JB hang tag and each shoe is hand numbered. Unless you were at the FAME Collective event, you probably won’t be able to get a pair of these.

Luxury eyewear brands Dita and familiar favorite Cazal teamed up to reproduce the popular vintage Cazal 902 style. Dita offered their own interpretation of the popular 902 style with exclusive colorways. The 902 originally debuted in 1982, enjoying a popular 14 year run before being discontinued.
