Medicom Toy has just unveiled their latest Bearbrick collaborations for the upcoming Holiday season. Among the crossovers include the Sex Pistols (400% & 1000%), David Flores/XLarge (100% & 400%), MACKDADDY (100%), Japanese hip-hop group Nitro Microphone Underground (100% & 400%), Marimekko (50% key chain), Fossil Watches (100%), Plaza London (100%) and AG Stars (100% & 400%). The first batch of these will hit stores next month.
Sports giant Nike is set to swoop in for a takeover of English brand Umbro. Umbro is best known for their commitment to football and their sponsorship of the English National Team. The move by Nike improves their position within certain key growth markets and the credibility associated with the long heritage of Umbro. Unfortunately in recent times, the crown jewel of Umbro, the English NT has faltered on the European stage and face a difficult task in qualifying for the upcoming European Championships which has resulted in less then steallar sales. Puma has recently released their latest styles of the Suede. The Puma Suede has had a strong run as of late featuring on the 2nd Collection of the MTV Yo! Raps series. The two pack includes a mustard yellow with blue formstripe colorway as well as a beige with light beige formstripe colorway. The sneakers are currently available at Mita.
A further release of the Crooks & Castles Illuminate Collection has started arriving at stores. The exclusive Illuminate Collection is only available in a handful of shops and represents the more upscale sub-line of Crooks & Castles.
