To commemorate the world renowned British DJ Gilles Peterson’s 2006 Japan Tour (9/14 – 9/23), Levi’s Japan will release this special model in mid September. The model “Heavy Hitter” is named after the installment of a hammer loop made of leather. It comes with a special CD with 4 tracks on it.

If you are a UK resident or will be travelling to the area here is something that will definatly be worth checking out. The Nike SB crew will be heading out on a UK skate tour. Riders on the tour will include Paul Rodriguez, Stefan Janowski, Brian Anderson, Wieger Van Wageningen, Omar Salazar, and Daniel Shimizu. The Nike SB Uk team will also be joining the tour. As of now little is known about the exact details of the tour other than the October 8th date. As the flier dictates more info will be released soon.

The launching of the Kobe Premium Pack by Stash/Nort took place at Juice Hong Kong on September 6th, the night before the pack was sold to the public on September 7th. The scene was filled with well known people such as Stash and Jared from Recon, Edison Chen from CLOT, Kobe Byrant and Just Blaze. There were also some local celebrities like at17 (girl singer/songwriter group), EO2 (boy dance group), Vangie Tang (singer), and more.
There will be 100 sets available worldwide. Juice will have 24 sets while Nort in NYC has the rest. The pair with Kobe, Stash and Edison’s signature is now up on eBay with starting bid of $8024 HKD. All profits from the auction will go to Changing Young Lives Foundation.
